Samia is a British qualified legal consultant working in the Construction Business Unit and the Commercial Department at Hamad Al Sharji, Peter Mansour & Co. In 2011 Samia completed her LLB Law Degree with Honours at London Southbank University in the UK. She also has an LLM in International Development Law & Human Rights obtained from the University of Warwick in the UK in 2012 as well as an LLM in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London in 2021.
Samia is an innovative and successful Legal Consultant with over 9 years of experience in Commercial, Construction and Arbitration disputes in the Sultanate of Oman with a specific interest in arbitration. Samia is a persuasive individual possessing strong negotiation skills, oral and written communication skills. She is resourceful with the ability to assess all issues to adequately protect clients’ interests and complete work successfully while adhering to rigid timelines.
Samia is engaged in various arbitration disputes, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, research and drafting of pleadings, incorporating foreign commercial entities in Oman, reviewing and drafting incorporation documents, giving legal opinions and advice on various legal matters including Oman Arbitration Law, litigation and labour disputes.
In her spare time, Samia enjoys supporting and participating in animal welfare groups in Oman and advocating for animal rights.
