Shehab has significant experience in dealing with “high-profile” cases representing various clients, including local and international corporations and is considered by his colleagues as an expert in handling complex disputes across a range of sectors in arbitration and alternative dispute processes, with particular expertise in construction disputes.
Shehab also has wide experience in Oman commercial and corporate law, establishing corporate structures, convening and conducting meetings for listed companies in Oman, compliance with corporate governance and dealing with Government ministries, obtaining licenses and consents for project sponsors.
Shehab is also a member of many regional and international institutions such as CIArb (Chartered Institute of Arbitrators) as a member and AFL (Approved Faculty List), ICC, LCIA, DIAC, ICCA, and OAC. In addition, he has published many legal papers related to international commercial arbitration in well-reputed law journals such as the Journal of Arab Arbitration and the Journal of International Arbitration.
