Edward has specialized in international construction and engineering law and arbitration for more than 20 years.
Edward leads teams in major arbitrations and litigation and has extensive experience of large energy and infrastructure projects including roads, ports, tunnels, airports, metros, power stations, water and wastewater facilities, FPSOs and pipelines.
Edward is a Solicitor Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience and acts as counsel in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations including under LCIA, ICC and UNCITRAL rules. He has also been involved in many successful mediations and other forms of ADR.
Most of his recent work has been in the Middle East including Oman. His project work usually involves JCT, NEC and FIDIC based contracts including the Red, Yellow and Silver books, and he regularly gives talks and workshops on related issues.
