Amer graduated from the Faculty of Law, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) in 2014. While studying at SQU, he attended training courses in various legal fields, such as Courts, Public Prosecution and Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He was also an active student at SQU and the team leader of Legal Awareness Group. Several conferences and forums were held during his leadership, such as Human Trafficking Conference, Insurance Conference and several others.
2009 to 2012, Amer joined Law Firms in Muscat as a Trainee Lawyer where he has acquired considerable expertise in the field of Law as well as handled large number of cases in different fields, especially those relating to commercial companies and commercial law.
In the year 2013, Amer joined Hamad Al Sharji, Peter Mansour & Co. (HP) in order to diversify his experience utilizing his contacts and efficient dealings with clients as well as the distinguished relationships he has built in the business society and public establishments in Oman.
At HP, Amer is engaged in various companies transactions and dealings including corporate governance matters. Amer actively attends before the various courts throughout Oman representing clients in civil, commercial as well as criminal court proceedings.
Amer is now registered as a practicing lawyer before the Court of Appeal and aims to be admitted shortly at the Supreme Court.
