Banking and Corporate Finance

We have a broad range of experience in all aspects relating to banking contracts, transactions and documentation. We act for lenders, borrowers and guarantors.

We use our experience to help solve problems and concentrate on the real issues utilizing our excellent understanding of the commercial aspects of banking work and our clients’ requirements.

We are able to advice on all aspects relating to banking work and to provide legal advice to all departments such as the credit department, the personnel department and others. We also assist in matters that concern the regulatory bodies and in particular, the Central Bank of Oman including the rights and duties enacted in Oman Banking Law No: 114/2000.

We also represent banks in all proceedings before the competent judicial bodies and undertake all litigation work in which banks are involved.

We are also well equipped to deal with all forms of financing. This includes:

  • General banking, particularly secured and unsecured lending work.
  • Muscat Capital Market work, including disputes relating to the same and arbitration arising therefrom.
  • Securitization and structured finance, both local and international.
