Ms. Samia Mansour – Legal Consultant
Ms. Samia Mansour obtained her LLB Law Degree (Hons) from London Southbank University, UK in 2011, followed by her LLM degree in International Development Law & Human Rights in 2012 from the University of Warwick, UK. Shortly after graduating with her LLM, she left the UK to pursue her career in Oman where she was born and raised.
Samia started her professional career with Dentons in 2013 where she gained experience in incorporating commercial entities in Oman in compliance with Oman Commercial Companies Law and Foreign Capital Investment Law. She also gained experience in reviewing and drafting incorporation documents as well as liaising with officials at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in order to expedite the registration of such entities.
Samia joined Hamad Al Sharji, Peter Mansour & Co. in 2015 as a legal consultant being involved in various arbitration matters, reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, incorporating commercial entities in Oman, reviewing and drafting incorporation documents, giving legal opinions and advising on various legal matters including litigation and manpower. Samia also has extensive experience in insolvency and liquidation and is currently assisting in the Liquidation of one British and one Japanese company in the Sultanate of Oman. Samia has recently been appointed as the Tribunal’s Secretary in a DIAC Arbitration case in Dubai in a claim in the sum of AED 10,165,600.
